NODE UNION · Company-owned review site
How reviews, examples & ratings work
Updated
NODE UNION owns this site and is the company discussed here. Publication by the company is not independent verification. See the operator and ownership disclosure.
Three different kinds of entry
- Demonstration example: the first ten cards in the original supplied HTML, IDs r1–r10, are explicitly described in its source as demonstration cards, with prototype dates. They are preserved and labelled as examples; their amounts, names and dates are not proof of a customer transaction. They do not count toward the displayed score.
- Legacy import: other entries preserved from the original site. Their text and historical dates are retained, but the current service has not established their authors’ identities or independently verified their transactions.
- User submission or administrator transfer: new member content and manual copies follow the moderation process below. A transfer is labelled with its source and original date when known. A source label is not proof of permission or authenticity.
How the displayed score is calculated
The displayed score is the arithmetic mean of the 1–5 star ratings of currently published, non-example review entries, rounded to one decimal. Each included entry has the same weight. The count beside the score is the number used in that calculation. The list count includes preserved examples as well. The distribution uses the same non-example entries. This is an on-site score including labelled legacy and transferred material, not an independent or verified-customer rating.
Hidden, rejected and pending entries and archived stories do not count. Editing an approved review sends it back to moderation and temporarily removes it from the public calculation. Filters and sorting change the list, not the overall score. No review-star or aggregate-rating markup is supplied to search engines for this company-owned service.
What moderation means
New user submissions are private to the author and administrators until a moderator approves them. Moderators check relevance, prohibited personal information, abuse, duplicates and the publication rules. Email confirmation establishes control of an email address; it does not verify a purchase, investment or withdrawal. The site does not automatically verify transaction documents. A published entry is not endorsed as a verified financial fact.
Transfers and incentives
Administrators must have a lawful basis and permission where required to republish another person’s text, name or image; a public source alone does not provide that permission. The source and original date should be supplied accurately. Undisclosed paid, rewarded, staff or affiliated endorsements are not allowed. If a contribution has such a relationship, it must be plainly disclosed in its text before publication.
Corrections and complaints
Authors may correct their own submissions in their account when account services are open. For older imports, personal-data issues, copyright or a moderation appeal, report the exact entry. Complaints are reviewed by people; the existence of criticism alone is not grounds for rejection.
